Tivela S460 is a high performance, synthetic, industrial gear oils based on polyalkylene glycol and specially selected additives. They are free of chlorine-, sulphur- and lead-based materials. This oil is NOT compatible with conventional carbon mineral oils. These oils offer the highest level of lubrication and excel particularly in the field of sliding contact lubrication, such as worm and wheel gearboxes and chains. They also offer higher levels of gear tooth pitting protection. Extended oil drain intervals for enclosed gears circa 10,000 hours.
